Southern Illinois University in Carbondale (SIUC) has announced three candidates for the post of director of undergraduate admissions. All three finalists are women.
Pamela Reeder is an associate registrar at Ohio State University. She has served as assistant registrar at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and as interim director of admissions at Cuyahoga Community College. Reeder is a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She holds a master’s degree from Cleveland State University.
Katharine Suski is currently serving as interim director of undergraduate admissions at SIUC and has been working in the admissions office since 1999. She earned a bachelor’s degree in radio and television from SIUC in 1998 and a master’s degree in public administration from SIUC in 2004.
Adrece Thighman-Nabe is associate director of undergraduate admissions at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. She has been a staffer at the university’s enrollment management office since 2000. Thighman-Nabe holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and a master’s degree in sociology and women’s studies from St. Cloud State University.
Dr. Hrycyna has served as dean of UC San Diego's School of Physical Sciences for the past three years. She is slated to become the university's next executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on January 1.
Dr. Albin is an associate professor of pediatrics and founding director of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's culinary medicine program, an initiative that aims to empower people to have a thriving relationship with the food they eat.
Dr. Borzewski has served as the interim provost of the Seminole campus and Health Education Center of St. Petersburg College in Florida for the past year. An alumna of the college, she has worked for St. Petersburg since 1999.
Since 2021, Dr. Raver has been serving as provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She will begin her new duties at the University of Michigan on December 1.
