Charlotte Connop, Danielle Howard, and Yi Qun Xu are new assistant professors at Bates College, Clemson University, and the University of Denver, respectively. Sarah Olsen of Williams College in Massachusetts and Karen Kopera-Frye of New Mexico State University are taking on academic leadership roles with their institutions.

The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education has honored Dr. Hinnant-Crawford for the second edition of her book Improvement Science in Education: A Primer

The new deans are Vanessa Vásquez at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Jessica Retrum at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Gwendolyn Lloyd at Pennsylvania State University, Katie Hartman at Ohio University, Sarah Feldner at Marquette University in Milwaukee, and Jennifer Roberts at the University of Kansas.

Dr. Murphy shares the award with three other scientists for their combined work in "reconstructing and interpreting connectomes, the anatomical wiring diagrams of neurons and synapses that underlie how the brain processes information and controls actions."
