The National Association of Social Workers honored Rolanda Ward for her service to underserved and oppressed communities. She currently serves as director of the Rose Bente Lee Ostapenko Center for Race, Equity, and Mission at Niagara University.
Patricia Diaz has been appointed to the Sunstar Robert J. Genco Endowed Chair at the University at Buffalo. Mary McCourt is the inaugural holder of the Michael J., ‘60 and Aimee Rusinko Kakos Endowed Chair of Chemistry at Niagara University in New York and Laly Joseph was named to the Dr. Keith R. Berend '92 Endowed Chair in Nursing at Florida Southern College.
The Vincent Commission will partner with Niagara University to conduct “The New Ground Study on Gender-based Violence†to focus on understanding how young men, through their thoughts and experiences, perceive domestic and gender-based violence.

Dr. Seigart has been serving as associate director of undergraduate and master's degree nursing programs and professor of nursing at Boise State University in Idaho. She will become dean at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania on August 21.
Mary A. Dineen was one of the first faculty members at the College of Nursing at Niagara University in 1946. Later, she served as dean of the School of Nursing at Boston College for 14 years.
Linda LeMura has been selected to become the 14th president of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. She will be the first laywoman and only the third woman overall to lead a Jesuit college in the United States.
