Dr. Rider has been serving as transitional president since January. She has spent the majority of her academic career at Elizabethtown College teaching psychology and serving in various administrative roles including provost and senior vice president of academic affairs.
Dr. Bookwala is the former dean of the faculty and currently is a professor of psychology at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. She has also served as dean of academic initiatives and dean of curriculum and research at Lafayette College. She joined the psychology department faculty in 2001 and has served as department chair.
EloiÌsa Gordon-Mora was named chief diversity officer at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Phyllis Esposito was appointed vice president and dean for institutional diversity at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and Sheila Lloyd was named senior vice president for justice, equity, and antiracism at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Since 2018, Dr. Brundage has served as the eleventh president of Keystone College in La Plume, Pennsylvania. Earlier, she was provost and vice president for academic affairs at Keystone. Before coming to Keystone, Dr. Brundage served as vice president of workforce development at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.
For the past eight years, Dr. Morris has been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Earlier, Dr. Morris served as a professor of psychology and was chair of that department at Butler. Her areas of expertise include social psychology, the psychology of gender, methodology, and statistics.
Since August 2017, Dr. Brundage has served as Keystone College’s provost and vice president for academic affairs. Before coming to Keystone, Dr. Brundage served as vice president of workforce development at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.
Inga Musselman, a professor of chemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas, has been serving as interim provost since 2015. Professor Musselman joined the faculty at the university in 1992. She was appointed associate provost for faculty affairs in 2008 and senior vice provost in 2014.
Marilyn Kerr taught biology at Syracuse University in New York for more than four decades. In 1976, she earned a Ph.D. in zoology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She was only the second woman to do so.
The four women promoted and awarded tenure at Gettysburg College are Shelli Frey in chemistry, Salma Monani is environmental studies, Joanne Myers in English, and Heather Odle-Dusseau in management.
