Cedar Crest College's new professional training initiative, Advance at Cedar Crest, provides working adults with skills in three high demand fields: business, healthcare, and technology.
Dr. Kayhart served as chair of the biology department at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, for nearly 40 years. After her retirement, she became the first-ever faculty member elected to the college's board of trustees.
The women appointed to endowed chairs are Yashi Ahmed at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, Jalene LaMontagne at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and Beverly Magda at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
