The new deans are Weiping Wu at Columbia University in New York City, Jennifer Faison Kelly at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, Lisa Macklin at Emory Univerity in Atlanta, Johannah Williams at Nashville State Community College in Tennessee, and Susan Murin at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine.
Dr. Holt currently serves as chief of staff for the University of Missouri System. She previously served as associate provost at the University of Missouri at Columbia and dean of academic administration at Northern Virginia Community College.
Since July 2016, Dr. Elizabeth Paul has served as the 16th president of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Earlier she was the senior academic officer and a professor of psychology at Stetson University in Deland, Florida, for seven years.
Dr. Paul currently serves as executive vice president and provost at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. She has served as provost since 2009. She is also a tenured full professor of psychology at the university.
Dr. Young has served in the post on an interim basis since October 2014. Previously, she was president of three other community colleges. President Young holds three degrees from Ohio University and two law degrees from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
