The new deans are Eunice Santos at Drexel University, Cristina Goletti at Ball State University, Marika Peterson at Virginia State University, Tada Lindahl at Allen Community College, Evan Yionoulis at Yale University, Cassidy Sugimoto at Carnegie Mellon University, and Marie Moeller at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Dr. Ballabina has over three decades of experience with Texas A&M University and the university system. She currently serves as the system's executive vice chancellor.
“DMACC is a cornerstone of Iowa’s economic and social vitality,” said Dr. Suddick. “I am excited for the opportunity to lead an institution that is so vital to so many students, families, businesses, and industries throughout Iowa.”
Dr. Gibbs has been serving as dean of the division of business and economics at Morehouse College in Atlanta. She is slated to become the first woman president of historically Black Texas College on July 1.
The new deans are Laila J. Richman at Towson University, Tiece M. Ruffin at Fort Lewis College, Suzanne Reading at Butler University, Stephanie Reid-Arndt at the University of Missouri, Amy Elliott at Marietta College, and Kristina Callis Duffin at the University of Utah.
Dr. Fallon comes to her new role from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, where she has served as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences since 2018. Previously, she was provost at Marylhurst University in Oregon.
Known for her expertise in designing and implementing randomized clinical trials, Dr. Mehran, an endowed professor and research director at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focuses her work on personalized medicine and developing individual risk scores for bleeding and acute kidney injury.
Dr. Sabin is slated to become the next president of Minnesota North College on July 1. She currently serves as the college's academic dean for career and technical education and director of the Eveleth campus.
The new deans are Emily Metzgar at Pennsylvania State University, Betsy Becker at the University of South Dakota, Samantha Penney at Hampton University in Virginia, and Kate Klepper at Babson College in Massachusetts.
With over 25 years of experience in higher education, business, and public service, Dr. Kollmann has been serving as chancellor of the New Mexico State University Global Campus. She is slated to become the next president of Vermont State University in July.
Throughout her career, Leeds has gained more than 25 years of experience as a professor and university administrator. Currently, she serves as dean of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Dr. Recasner has over two decades of experience as a tenured faculty member and senior administration in higher education. She has been serving as the interim president of Seattle Central University.
