Two Women in New Roles for the University of North Carolina System

dickens_emily_12_013_mEmily Dickens was named assistant vice president for federal relations for the University of North Carolina system. She is the former director of government and community affairs at Fayetteville State University.

Dickens holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from North Carolina Central University. She is also a graduate of the North Carolina Central University School of Law.

Ann Beall, Federal Relations at the University of North Carolina.Ann Marie Beall was named director of military education. She previously served as the associate director of transfer and nontraditional admissions and military liaison at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Beall is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she majored in history. She earned a master’s degree in liberal studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
