Patricia Watson was selected as the next senior vice president for university advancement at Brown University. She is currently serving as senior associate vice president for alumni affairs and development at Cornell University. Before coming to Cornell in 2004, she was director of development and assistant dean for advancement in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University. She will begin her new job on December 1.
Watson is a graduate of Cornell University, where she majored in design and environmental analysis. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from Syracuse University.
Suzanne Thoren Walker has been named director of degree programs for executive MBA programs at the University of Notre Dame. She was associate director of executive MBA programs at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Walker is a graduate of Iowa State University, where she majored in business administration. She is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
Elsie L. Scott was named the founding director of the Ronald W. Walters Center at Howard University. The new center will focus on leadership development and public policy research.
From 2006 to earlier this year, Dr. Scott was president and CEO of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. She is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Iowa and a doctorate from Atlanta University.

Smith is a former research associate for the Kansas Board of Regents. She is a graduate of Wichita State University.

Dr. Miller is a graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. She holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University and an educational doctorate from Indiana University.

Ash is a graduate of Creighton University and holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Pertee is a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia and holds an MBA from Ohio State University.

Pringle holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kent State University.

Dr. Mosquera holds bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Amsterdam.
