MIT Neuroscientist Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Martha Constantine-Paton, professor of brain and cognitive sciences and an investigator for the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, received the Mika Salpeter Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Neuroscience.
The award is presented to a scientist with outstanding career achievements in neuroscience and who has actively promoted the professional advancement of women in the field.
Professor Constantine-Paton joined the MIT faculty in 1999. She previously taught at Princeton University and Yale University.
