“Receiving the 2022 Filerman Prize is the most meaningful honor of my career. Dr. Lemak teaches and conducts research in the areas of health care management and leadership development, with an emphasis on how leadership and organizational factors are associated with high performance.

Professor Lemak is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she majored in health and medical administrative services. She earned an MBA and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Missouri, and a Ph.D. in health services from the Univerity of Michigan.
