Lynn Priddy Is the New President of Claremont Lincoln University in California

Claremont Lincoln University, a nonprofit online university headquartered in Claremont, California, has named Lynn Priddy its new president and CEO. She took office on April 1.

Claremont Lincoln University offers only online master’s degree programs, mostly in business fields. According to the most recent data available from the U.S. Department of Education, the university enrolls just over 250 students. Women make up 80 percent of the student body.

Dr. Priddy has served on the university’s board of directors for the past two years. She was the interim vice president of academic affairs for the institution from February 2019 to December 2020. Earlier, Dr. Priddy served as provost at National American University, a private, for-profit online university headquartered in Rapid City, South Dakota.

“This is an exciting time for CLU, as the institution deepens its commitment to developing mindful and ethical leaders,” said Dr. Priddy. “The recent launch of our master in public administration degree program in partnership with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy extends our reach in this endeavor, and I am energized to take the leadership reins for a school that is making such a profound impact on students and bringing about positive change in rural and urban communities.”

Dr. Priddy earned a bachelor’s degree in English and curriculum and instruction from the State University of New York College at Genesco. She holds a master’s degree in English and instruction from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a doctorate in higher education from Capella University.
