Four Women Appointed to Administrative Positions at Universities

Sherry Kollmann will be the inaugural vice provost for digital learning initiatives at New Mexico State University, effective July 1. She has served as senior associate dean of business programs at Southern New Hampshire University and vice president of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at New England College.

Dr. Kollmann holds a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University, where she majored in management. She holds a master’s degree in organizational management from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a master’s degree in education and a Ph.D. in instructional psychology and technology from the University of Oklahoma.

Katie Callow-Wright was appointed executive vice president and chief of staff in the President’s Office at the University of Chicago. She has worked at the university in various roles since 2000 and most recently served as vice president and secretary of the university and chief of staff.

Callow-Wright is a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where, she majored in economics. She holds a master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

J’onnelle Colbert-Diaz was recently promoted to associate director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance at the University of Arkansas. She joined the office in 2007 and was named assistant director in 2014.

Colbert-Diaz received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas.

Rebecca Hannagan is the new director of the Office of Military and Veteran Services in the Division of Student Success at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She most recently served as the Research and Integration Branch Head with the Directorate of Analytics and Performance Optimization for Headquarters Marine Corps in Arlington, Virginia.

Dr. Hannagan holds a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also earned a master’s degree in political science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha,
