Elizabeth Kiscaden was named assistant vice provost for library services at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She will assume her new duties in March. For the past five years, Kiscaden has been the associate director of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine for the Greater Midwest Region and, previously, head of library services at the University of Iowa’s Hardin Library for the Health Sciences.
Kiscaden is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She holds a master of library and information science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Nicole Pollack is the new chief human resources officer and assistant vice chancellor of human resources at the University of California, Merced. She was director of the Human Services Agency for San Mateo County and previously served as the Workforce and Economic Development director for the county.
Pollack earned a bachelors’ degree in child development and a master’s degree in public administration at California State University, Stanislaus.
Ruth Allen was appointed the curator of Greek and Roman art at the Michael C. Carlos Museum on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta. Most recently a visiting academic at the Institute of Classical Studies in London.
Dr. Allen received a bachelor’s degree in classics and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in England. She holds a master’s degree in art history from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.

Unruh is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she majored in English and journalism. She is completing work on a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Arkansas.

Florkowski received a bachelor’s degree in engineering psychology from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania.
