The Oklahoma State University board of regents has chosen Pamela Fry as president of the Tulsa campus of the university. When she takes office on July 1, she will become the first woman to lead the Tulsa campus since its founding in 1999.
The campus enrolls about 2,300 students in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs.
Dr. Fry has served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the Tulsa campus since 2016. She also serves as vice provost and associate vice president of undergraduate education at the flagship campus of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Earlier, Dr. Fry was dean of the university’s College of Education for six years.
“It is an honor to be chosen to lead the branch campus of a land grant university that impacts so many in the Tulsa area,” Dr. Fry said. “I look forward to collaborating with university, industry, agency and community partners in Stillwater and Tulsa to increase access and create clearer pathways to undergraduate and graduate degrees for Tulsans.”
Dr. Fry is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. She holds a master’s degree in applied behavioral studies and a doctorate in curriculum and supervision from Oklahoma State University.
