Amy Rosonet LeBert Chosen to Lead the Council of State Speech-Language-Hearing Association Presidents

Amy Rosonet LeBert has been chosen as president-elect of the Council of State Speech-Language-Hearing Association Presidents. She will serve as president-elect for 2019 before transitioning to president in 2020.

LeBert is a clinical instructor and director of the Speech Pathology Clinic at the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been a faculty member at School of Speech & Hearing Sciences at the university for the past 11 years, where she also chairs the Graduate Admissions Committee. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Biloxi Public Schools from 2001-2008.

In her new role as president-elect, LeBert will assist the council’s current president with committee supervision and committee chair appointments, assist with monitoring and implementing the strategic plan, and coordinating an annual update of the Policy and Procedures Manual.

LeBert holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of South Alabama.
