Jameia Tennie was promoted to director of undergraduate admissions at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro. She had been serving in the position on an interim basis. Tennie joined the staff at the university in 2012 and served as assistant director of transfer admissions and later as senior associate director of admissions.
Tennie earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Hampton University in Virginia. She holds a master’s degree in adult education from North Carolina A&T State University.
Sharon Nichols has been named the state director of the Mississippi Small Business Development Center, which is administered through the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi. She was the assistant state director of the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center.
Nichols holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Central Oklahoma and an MBA in organizational leadership and change management from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Nicole Bienert Metzger has been named chief revenue officer of Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing. She was vice president of partnership development for Hornets Sports and Entertainment in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Metzger holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
Danica Myers has been named interim Title IX Coordinator at the University of Delaware. She previously served as the assistant director of the Office of Equity and Inclusion at Tennessee State University.
Myers holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Heidi Woodbury has been named vice president for institutional advancement at the University of Utah. She currently serves as the assistant dean for external relations at the David Eccles School of Business at the university.
Woodbury is a graduate of the University of Utah.
Lacey Armstrong has been named executive director of the Joseph S. Bruno Auburn Abroad in Italy program at Auburn University in Alabama. She spent the last eight years as a registered dietitian in the U.S. Army, focusing on injury prevention, human performance, and sports nutrition for airborne soldiers and improving the nutrition for military families.
Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Auburn University and completed the U.S. Military-Baylor University Graduate Program in Nutrition.
Micki Kidder has been promoted to vice president for university enterprises and events at the University Notre Dame in Indiana. She previously served as the university’s associate vice president for development.
Kidder holds a bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is on track to receive an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in May.
Dr. Kahanov became the twentieth president of Notre Dame de Namur University in California on July 1. She previously served as provost at Alvernia University in Pennsylvania, Stockton University in New Jersey, and SUNY Oneonta.
Most recently, Dr. Sanders served as vice president of experiential product management and interim vice president of product and technology at Western Governors University.
Dr. Allmendinger began her tenure as the sixth president of Delta College in Michigan on June 29. Prior to her new role, she spent three years as vice president of student affairs at Southeastern Community College in Iowa.
