A Quartet of Women Appointed to Positions as Deans at Colleges and Universities

Diana Kostrzewski has been named interim dean of the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines at the University of North Dakota. She currently serves as a clinical associate professor of nursing and graduate program chair at the university.

Dr. Kostrzewski holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, a master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota, and a Ph.D. in postsecondary and adult education from Capella University.

Tiffany Heng-Moss has been named dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been serving as interim dean since July 2017.

Dr. Heng-Moss holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Nebraska.

Nancy Kropf has been named dean of Perimeter College at Georgia State University. She currently serves as dean of the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions at Georgia State.

Dr. Kropf holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, a master’s degree in social work from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in social work and social policy from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Carol Ash has been named interim dean of the School of Health, Wellness & Public Safety at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque. She had previously been a director at Chicago’s Kennedy King College.

Dr. Ash holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and a doctorate of education from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
