Thirteen Women Appointed to Administrative Posts at Colleges and Universities

Erin Benson was promoted to director of the Disability Resource Center at the University of Georgia. She joined the staff at the center in 2015 and since December 2016 has served as senior assistant director. Earlier in her career, Benson spent nine years in student affairs posts at the Oconee campus of the University of North Georgia.
Benson holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a master of public administration and policy degree from the University of Georgia.
Roz Bradshaw-Robinson was promoted to project manager and research administrator in the Office of Medical Student Research at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She joined the staff at the university in 2011.
Bradshaw-Robinson is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, where she majored in business administration. She holds a master’s degree in management and leadership from Webster University in Missouri.
Erika Dawson-Head was appointed co-director of diversity for the College of Information and Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts. She will lead the college’s outreach efforts in an effort to increase student, faculty, and staff diversity. She has been serving as diversity and employee engagement coordinator for the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Dawson-Head is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she majored in political science and sociology. She holds a master’s degree in counseling.
Michelle Cwach was promoted to director of communications at the University of South Dakota. Since 2016, she has been senior web editor for the communications department.
Cwach is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where she majored in contemporary media and journalism and English. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and communication from Iowa State University.
Jill O’Donnell is the inaugural director of the Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was a consultant to the NATO Communications and Information Agency.
O’Donnelll is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from Johns Hopkins University.
Emily Potter-Ndiaye was appointed head of education at the Mead Art Museum on the campus of Amherst College in Massachusetts. She will also serve as the Andrew W. Mellon Curator of Academic Programs at the museum. Since 2013, Potter-Ndiaye has been director of education for the Brooklyn Historical Society in New York.
Potter-Ndiaye is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she majored in history and African studies. She holds a master’s degree in museum studies from New York University.
Keisha L. Pope was named director of financial aid at Virginia Union University in Richmond. She is the former director of financial aid at Reynolds Community College in Richmond.
Pope is a graduate of Virginia State University, where she majored in public administration. She earned a master of public administration degree at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Raechelle Clemmons was appointed chief information officer and associate vice president for technology at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. She has been serving as chief information officer at Davidson College in North Carolina.
Clemmons is graduate of California State University, East Bay, where she majored in political science.
Sarah Custer is the new director of emergency management at Clemson University in South Carolina. She has spent the past 20 years and an emergency management specialist for the U.S. Navy and Air Force.
Custer is a graduate of the American Military University, where she majored in emergency and disaster management. She is studying for an MBA at Clemson University.
Elizabeth Bejar was promoted to senior vice president for academic and student affairs at Florida International University in Miami. She joined the staff at the university in 2003 and was appointed vice president of academic affairs in 2014.
Dr. Bejar is a graduate of the University of Miami, where she majored in psychology and elementary education. She holds a master’s degree in international and intercultural development education from Florida International University and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Boston College.
Vippy Yee is the new director of the Center for Ethics and Civic Engagement at the Brandywine campus of Pennsylvania State University in Media. Since 2015, she has been the assistant director of volunteer programs at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
Yee is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she majored in political science and East Asian studies. She holds a master’s degree in sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Meredith Lynn was named gallery director at the Museum of Fine Arts on the campus of Florida State University. She was the gallery director at Indiana State University.
Lynn is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She earned a master of fine arts degree from Iowa State University.
Yolanda M. King is the new assistant dean for diversity at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. She was director of residence life and learning at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Earlier, she was associate director of residence life at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
King is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio, where she majored in English. She holds a master degree in higher education student development from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
