The Next President of Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls

President of Minnesota State Community and Technical CollegeThe board of trustees of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has chosen Carrie Brimhall as the next president of Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls. She will take office on July 1.

According to the most recent data supplied to the U.S. Department of Education, Minnesota State Community and Technical College, located south-east of Fargo, North Dakota, enrolls just over 6,300 students. Women make up 60 percent of the student body.

Dr. Brimhall has been on the staff at the college for nearly two decades. Since 2014, she has served as vice president of academic affairs and chief academic officer. Earlier, Dr. Brimhall has dean of enrollment management, interim provost, and associate vice president of academic and student affairs.

Dr. Brimhall is a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College. She went on to earned a bachelor’s degree from Concordia College in Morehead, Minnesota, and a master’s degree and a doctorate from Capella University.
