Nefertiti Burton was appointed professor and chair of the department of theatre arts at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She was professor and chair of the department of theatre arts at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Professor Burton has taught at the University of Louisville since 1999. Earlier, she was on the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Professor Burton holds a master of fine arts degree in directing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Laura Spitz was named professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law. She was senior lecturer in law and vice provost for international affairs at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Professor Spitz is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she majored in history. She holds law degrees from the University of British Columbia and Cornell University.
Ann Christiano, who holds the Frank and Betsy Karel Endowed Chair in Public Interest Communications at the University of Florida, was named director of Center for Public Interest Communications in the College of Journalism and Communications at the university.
Professor Christiano is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she majored in public relations. She earned a master’s degree in public affairs and policy from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Lisa Legault was promoted to associate professor of psychology and granted tenure at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. Dr.Legault joined the faculty at Clarkson in 2012.
Dr. Legault holds a bachelor’s degree in social science and a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa in Canada. She did postdoctoral research in social neuroscience at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Holland holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Alabama. She earned a nurse practitioner master’s degree at Vanderbilt University and a doctor of nursing practice degree at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Dr. Fritz is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Professor Graziosi holds a master’s degree from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge.

Jimsen is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she majored in comparative literature. She holds a master of fine arts degree in film and media from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Dounay is a magna cum laude graduate of Colorado College. She earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota. After serving as a NIH postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Dounay worked for eight years in the neurosciences medicinal chemistry division at Pfizer Inc.
