The Next Provost at California State University, Fullerton

Kari Knutson Miller has been chosen to be the next provost at California State University, Fullerton. She will become provost on January 1 and her appointment is until June 30, 2020.
The university, located east of Los Angeles, near Anaheim, enrolls about 34,500 undergraduates and more than 5,600 graduate students. Women are 56 percent of the undergraduate student body.
Dr. Knutson Miller currently serves as associate vice president of international programs and global engagement and dean of University Extended Education. She is also a professor of child and adolescent studies. Dr. Knutson Miller joined the faculty at California State University, Fullerton in 1999.
Professor Knutson Miller holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned a doctorate in educational psychology at Arizona State University.
