Carolina Davila was appointed assistant director of the Latino Cultural Center at Yale University. She had been serving as a residence hall director at the University of Connecticut.
A native of Puerto Rico, Davila is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she majored in communication disorders. She holds a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
Sandra Millard was promoted to deputy University Librarian at the University of Delaware. She had been serving as associate University Librarian for public services and outreach. She has been on the staff of the library since 1987.
Dr. Millard is a graduate of Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. She holds a master of library science degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Delaware.
Mary Anne Sloan was appointed vice president for healthcare at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. She is the former managing director of the Office of Corporate and Global Affairs at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Sloan is a graduate of Purdue University, where she majored in nursing. She holds an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from the University of Phoenix.

Earlier in her career, Sanders was appointed by the governor of Kentucky to serve as director of motor carriers. Later she was appointed to deputy commissioner of the Department of Vehicle Registration.

Whitsett is a graduate of Yale University, where she majored in American studies. She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit studies from Arizona State University.

Kemp holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Virginia Tech and a master of architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Brown holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Louisiana Tech. She is completing work on a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Marine is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she majored in history.

Mastronardi is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She holds master’s degrees from Boston University and Emmanuel College.

Ward is a graduate of Valdosta State University in Georgia, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix.

Hughes is a graduate of Coker College in South Carolina, where she majored in physical education. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Montevallo.

Hurbanis is a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

Beard is a graduate of Wichita State University in Kansas, where she majored in exercise science. She holds a master’s degree in health promotion from Nebraska Methodist College.
