Kimberly Gold Named President of Robeson Community College in North Carolina

The president of Robeson Community CollegeThe State Board of Community Colleges in North Carolina has named Kimberly Gold as the fifth president of Robeson Community College in Lumberton. The college enrolls nearly 2,000 students. According to the latest U.S. Department of Education data, women make up 69 percent of the student body at the college.

Dr. Gold has been serving as executive vice president and chief academic officer at Isothermal Community College in Spindale, North Carolina. She has been on the faculty at Isothermal Community College since 1995. Dr. Gold has served as vice president for academic and student services and dean of business sciences at the college.

Dr. Gold is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned an MBA at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, and an educational doctorate from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
