Website Issues Its Rankings of the Nation’s Best Women’s Colleges

The StartClass.com website recently released its rankings of the best women’s colleges in the United States. The educational research website rates women’s colleges on factors such as affordability, career readiness programs, admissions selectivity, academic ratings, and experts’ opinions.

wellesleyWellesley College in Massachusetts was rated as the top women’s college in the StartClass rankings. Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania was rated second and Barnard College in New York ranked third. Smith College and Mount Holyoke College, both in Massachusetts, also ranked in the top five.

Rounding out the top 10 in the StartClass rankings of women’s colleges were St. Mary’s College in Indiana, College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, Spelman College, a historically Black institution in Atlanta, Simmons College in Boston, and Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
