New Administrative Posts for Six Women in Higher Education

ehrlich-anne-3aAnne Ehrlich was appointed vice president for student development at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Since 2007, she has been dean of students at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. Prior to her work at Woodbury University, Dr. Ehrlich held positions in residential life and student life at Whittier College in California and the University of Michigan.

Dr. Ehrlich received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of California, San Diego. She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan and a doctorate in educational leadership from University of California, Los Angeles.

leisa_julian100Leisa Julian was named vice chancellor and chief financial officer at the University of Kansas, effective February 15. She has been serving as associate vice president for business and auxiliary services at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

Julian holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Ball State University and a law degree from Indiana University.

cannonAllyson Cannon is the new director of marketing and communications for the West Virginia University Alumni Association. She was the recruitment and social media manager for the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Cannon is a 2009 graduate of the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University.

BarnardKathy Barnard was appointed executive director of the Office of Alumni Relations at the University of Idaho and the University of Idaho Alumni Association. She was the executive director of university communications at Washington State University.

Barnard is a 1981 graduate of the University of Idaho, where she majored in journalism.

Spisso+portrait_thmbJohnese Spisso was named associate vice chancellor of health sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles. She will also serve as president of UCLA Health and CEO of the UCLA Hospital System. She has been serving as vice president of medical affairs for the University of Washington.

A registered nurse, Spisso holds a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in Orange, California, and holds a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of San Francisco.

cloey-rotator-NewED-1_1Clothilde Hewlett was named executive director of the Cal Alumni Association at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a partner in the law firm Nossaman LLP.

Hewlett is a 1976 graduate of the University of California with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She earned a law degree at Berkeley in 1979.
