Erica J. Hashimoto, the Allen Post Professor of Law at the University of Georgia, was named a Joseph Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor at the university. She joined the faculty at the law school in 2004 after serving as a clerk for two federal judges.
Professor Hashimoto is a graduate of Harvard University and the Georgetown University Law Center.
Julia Randall was promoted to associate professor of art at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
Randall is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and holds a master of fine arts degree from Rutger University in New Jersey.
Hilary Blumberg was appointed the inaugural John and Hope Furth Professor of Psychiatric Neuroscience at Yale University. She is the director of the Mood Disorders Research Program at the university. She joined the faculty at Yale in 1998 as an assistant professor of psychiatry.
Professor Blumberg is a graduate of Harvard University. She earned a medical degree and completed her training in psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College.
Lydia Conklin will serve as the Creative Writing Fellow in Fiction at Emory University for a term that will run until 2017. In 2012, Conklin won the Pushcart Prize for her short story “Rockaway.”
Conklin holds a master of fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Concetta DiRusso was appointed the George W. Holmes University Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Professor DiRusso joined the faculty at the university in 2008.
