Five Women Promoted to Full Professor at Oklahoma State University

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater has announced the promotion of 18 faculty members from associate professor to full professor. Five of the promotions went to women.

weeks_p08_mediumPenny P. Weeks was promoted to full professor of agricultural education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in educational psychology, and a doctorate in agricultural education, all from Texas A&M University.

greinerAlyson Greiner was named a full professor of geography. She is the author of Visualizing Human Geography: At Home in a Diverse World (John Wiley & Sons, 2011). Dr. Greiner is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Missouri and a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Texas.

MindyMcCannMelinda H. McCann was promoted to full professor of statistics at Oklahoma State. She is also the graduate coordinator for the department of statistics.

allisonRobin W. Allison was appointed full professor of pathobiology. She has been on the faculty at Oklahoma State since 2004. Dr. Allison earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree and a Ph.D. in pathology from Colorado State University.

MicheleSeikelMichele B. Seikel was promoted to full professor of library sciences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master of library and information science degree from San Jose State University in California.
