Two Women Named Co-Editors of the Journal School Library Research

The American Association of School Librarians has announced that two women academics will share responsibilities as co-editors of the journal School Library Research.
Ruth V. Small is the Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professor at the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. She also serves as the founding director of the Center for Digital Literacy at the university. Dr. Small has been teaching at Syracuse since 1989.
Professor Small holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Syracuse University. She also a master’s degree in education from Hunter College in New York City.
Mega M. Subramaniam is an assistant professor in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland in College Park. She also serves as associate director for the Information Policy and Access Center at the university. Dr. Subramaniam has been on the faculty at the University of Maryland since 2009.
Dr. Subramaniam is a graduate of the University of Technology of Malaysia. She holds a master’s degree in education from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in information studies from Florida State University.
