Catherine E. Costello was appointed a William Fairfield Warren Distinguished Professor at Boston University. She is one of only 10 faculty members at the university to holds these professorships, which are named after the university’s first president. Dr. Costello has been serving as a professor of biochemistry and a professor of physiology and biophysics at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Professor Costello joined the Boston University faculty in 1994. Dr. Costello is a graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University.
