Lisa Bartoshuk to Receive the Highest Honor of the Association for Psychological Science

bartoshukLinda Bartoshuk, presidential endowed professor of community dentistry and behavioral science at the University of Florida, was selected to receive the William James Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Psychological Science. It is the organization’s most prestigious award.

Professor Bartoshuk is also affiliated with the Center for Smell and Taste of the university’s McKnight Brain Institute. She is known for her research on “supertasters,” people who have a significantly greater number of taste buds.

Dr. Bartoshuk is a graduate Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. She holds a Ph.D. from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
