Penn State Offering Free Self-Defense Classes for Women Students

Pennsylvania State University is offering free self-defense classes for women students as part of an effort to combat sexual violence on campus. The free courses, devised by Rape Aggression Defense Systems, will be taught by certified instructors of the university’s police force.
The program is funded by the Giardini Endowment for the Empowerment of Women Students.
