Hello Ms Schrader,my name is Timothy Aiken,I am a long time resident and artist of the Jamaica Queens area.Ive done backdrop art for York College back in 2011 and I’ve done mural work in the Jamaica Queens area.I am reaching out to you as a follow up to an inquiry I made to a previous director of the college requesting to do some mural work on your campus. I Am specifically interested in doing this on the handball court near the track adjacent the sport complex attached to the college.I have a proposal I’d like to share with you which outlines the goals I’m trying to accomplish.Only if you would be so gracious to give a listen to my objective and how I would like to share it with the community .I realize you are a very busy working entity of York College and I truly feel this could help other artists that are up and coming particularly the youth. Those in need of direction and focus on more positive contributions to the community.
