In Memoriam: Patricia Sankey Imfeld Robinson, 1926-2020

Patricia Robinson, a former college professor, died at her home in Brunswick, Maine, on New Year’s Day. She was 93 years old.

A native of New Jersey, Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree at Connecticut College. She then taught at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, from 1947 to 1950. Robinson went on to earn a master’s degree in education at the University of Michigan.

After a brief term of teaching in the public school system in Winsted, Connecticut, Robinson joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut in 1953. She taught classes in physical education. She also coached field hockey, basketball, and softball at the university.

Robinson retired in 1975 after teaching at the university for 22 years.
