
In the Small Colleges and Universities category, for schools with less than 5,000 undergraduates, three women’s colleges made the list of the top producers of Peace Corps volunteers. Spelman College in Atlanta ranked in a tie for fourth place. Spelman College has 14 alumnae currently serving in the Peace Corps.
Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, currently has 13 graduates volunteering in the Peace Corps. This puts the college in a tie for tenth place in the Small Colleges and Universities category. Smith College in Northampton ranked in a tie for 16th place with 11 alumnae currently serving in the Peace Corps.
Wellesley College and Simmons College, two women’s colleges in Massachusetts, were on the list of the top producers of Peace Corps volunteers in 2017 but dropped off the list this year.
