Kalani Craig and Michelle Dalmau have been appointed co-directors of the Institute for Digital Arts and Humanities at Indiana University in Bloomington. The institute, part of the Herman B. Wells Library, serves as a campus hub for consultations, presentations, seminars, classes, and programs related to digital arts and humanities.
Kalani Craig is an assistant professor in the department of history at the university. Her research focuses on medieval historiography and political history. Dr. Craig is a summa cum laude graduate of Scripps College in Claremont, California, where she majored in English. She earned a master’s degree in history at Portland State University in Oregon and a Ph.D. in history at Indiana University.
Michelle Dalmau is the director of Digital Collections Services at Indiana Universities Libraries. She joined the staff at the university in 2006 and has led the Digital Collections Services since 2013. Dalmau holds bachelor’s degrees in English and art history and a master of library and information sciences degree from Indiana University.
