The First Woman President of Vermont Technical College

Patricia Moulton was named president of Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center. She is the first woman to lead college since its founding 150 years ago. Moulton has been serving as interim president since September 2016.
Vermont Technical College enrolls about 1,550 students. Women make up nearly 47 percent of the student body.
Before being named interim president of the college last fall. Moulton was secretary for the Agency of Commerce and Community Development for the state of Vermont. Earlier, she served as Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Labor and Commissioner for Economic Development for the state.
Moulton is a 1981 graduate of the University of Vermont.
