Susan Davies was named associate vice chancellor for student affairs and enrollment services for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She is the former associate vice chancellor for enrollment management at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Dr. Davies is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree in college student development from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and a Ph.D. in educational studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Shawna Cooper-Gibson is the new assistant provost for student academic services st Loyola University Chicago. She was dean of students st the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Cooper-Gibson is a graduate of the University of Illinois. She holds a master’s degree from National Louis University and an educational doctorate from Boston University.
Emma Imbrie Chubb was named the inaugural Charlotte Feng Ford ’83 Curator of Contemporary Art at the Smith College Museum of Art in Northampton, Massachusetts, effective July 10.
Chubb is a magna cum laude graduate of Haverford College in Pennsylvania, where she majored in French and the history of art. She is expected to received a Ph.D. in art history from Northwestern University this spring.
