Lennette Johnson Ivy, a long-time administrator and faculty member at the University of Mississippi, died late last month at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was 63 years old.
Professor Ivy joined the faculty at the University of Mississippi in 1990. She served as clinical supervisor in speech pathology, an assistant and associate professor, and chair of the department of communication sciences and disorders. She served on the faculty for more than a quarter century.
Dr. Ivy was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. She earned a master’s degree in communicative disorders from the University of Mississippi and a doctorate in audiology and speech pathology from the University of Memphis.
