A New Program to Promote Entrepreneurship Among Woman at the University of Nevada

The Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Nevada at Reno has launched a new Women’s Initiative that aims to facilitate connections between women involved with entrepreneurial activities on campus with women involved in entrepreneurial activities in the community.
The idea for the Women’s Initiative began after members of the Ozmen Center noticed that no women entered the 2016 Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition, a program of the University’s College of Business. The goal of the Women’s Initiative is to engage female entrepreneurs and to give women more confidence and connections to make their dreams a reality.
