Marina Perez de Mendiola holds the Richard Armour Chair in Modern Languages. She is the editor of Bridging the Atlantic: Latin American and Iberian Thought(State University of New York Press, 1996). Professor Perez de Mendiola holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in Latin American literatures and cultures from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
Nathalie Rachlin was appointed to the Margaret McKenzie Distinguished Professorship in Modern Foreign Languages. She has been serving as a professor of French. Dr. Rachlin holds a master’s degree from Universite Paul Valery in Montpellier, France. She earned a Ph.D. at Princeton University.
Rita Roberts was named to the Nathaniel Wright Stephenson Chair in History and Biography. A professor of history and African studies, Dr. Roberts is the author of Evangelicalism and the Politics of Reform in Northern Black Thought, 1776-1863 (Louisiana State University Press, 2010). Professor Roberts is a graduate of Southern Illinois University. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
