In Memoriam: Susanne Elizabeth Martin, 1946-2015

SLMartinSusanne Elizabeth Martin, a longtime employee of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, died at her home in Reading, Massachusetts on August 14. She was 68 years old.

Martin grew up in Detroit and attended St John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Harvard University.

Martin worked at MIT for 29 years, first at MIT Medical as supervisor of the business office and then as the administrative officer for the comparative media studies/writing program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. She retired in 2007.
