The Next Chancellor of the Eunice Campus of Louisiana State University

russellKimberly A. Russell was named chancellor of Louisiana State University Eunice. The university enrolls about 2,700 students and women make up 70 percent of the student body, according to the latest data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Dr. Russell has been serving as vice president for advancement and external affairs at Tyler Junior College in Texas. She was also the executive director of the Tyler Junior College Foundation. She had been on the staff at Tyler Junior College since 1999.

Dr. Russell is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler. She earned master’s and doctoral degrees at the University of North Texas in Denton.
