Jennifer Chen to Be the Youngest Graduate of the Florida International University College of Medicine

chenJennifer Chen never graduated from high school. After finishing ninth grade, she enrolled at California State University, Los Angeles at the age of 14. After graduating from college, she took a year off to conduct research and then enrolled at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in Miami. This spring, Chen will be youngest person to graduate from the medical school.

The soon to be Dr. Chen has been accepted into the surgical residency program at the University of California, Riverside and then will serve a residency in radiology at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
