Four Women Join the Faculty at Coker College

cokerCoker College in Hartsville, South Carolina, has announced that there are seven new full-time faculty members on campus this fall. Four of the new hires are women.

Jessica Robinson is an assistant professor of chemistry. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University.

Stephanie Weiss was hired as an instructor in business administration. She was an instructor at Mountain State University in West Virginia, which is now closed. She is a graduate of Mountain State University and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Strayer University. She is working on a doctorate in business administration with Walden University.

Jennifer Heusel is a new assistant professor of communications. She is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and holds a master’s degree in African American and African diaspora studies and a master’s degree in art history from Indiana University. She is a doctoral candidate in communication and culture and American studies at Indiana University.

Elizabeth Scott Hill was appointed assistant professor of social work and coordinator of the social work field education program. Hill is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and earned a master’s degree in social work at Columbia University in New York City. She is doctoral candidate in social welfare at Columbia.
