Tina Packer was named the Rev. J. Donald Monan S.J. Professor in Theatre Arts at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She is the founding artistic director of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts. Packer is the co-author of Power Plays: Shakespeare’s Lessons in Leadership and Management (Simon & Schuster, 2000).
Professor Packer is a native of England and was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Sandra Russ was appointed the Louis D. Beaumont Distinguished University Professor in the department of psychological sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She has been on the university’s faculty for nearly 40 years and has served as associate provost and interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Russ holds a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mary Uhl-Bien was named the BNSF Railway Endowed Professor of Leadership at the Neeley School of Business of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She had held the Howard Hawks Chair in Business Ethics and Leadership at the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Uhl-Bien holds a bachelor’s degree, an MBA, and a Ph.D., all from the University of Cincinnati.
With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Richtermeyer has spent the past three years as executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost at Rutgers University-Camden
Cheryl Norman was appointed president of Ridgewater College in Minnesota and Ellen Kennedy was named interim president of Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Scarlatta has led the University of Michigan-Dearbon on an interim basis for the past year. Pending approval from the board of regents, she is slated to become the university's permanent leader on May 22.
Nicole Reaves has been serving as executive vice president and chief programs officer at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. On July 15, she is slated to become the first woman president of Schenectady County Community College within the State University of New York System.
