In Memoriam: Kathy Lee Druckman Berggren, 1968-2014

x-defaultKathy Berggren, a senior lecturer in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, died suddenly while attending an academic conference in Portland, Oregon. She was 46 years old.

Berggren joined the faculty at Cornell in 1993 and served as a senior lecturer in the department of communication for 20 years before transferring to the Dyson School earlier this year. She was a faculty adviser for the Association for Women in Education and a fellow of the Center for Outreach and Engagement.

Berggren held a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in science education from Cornell University.
