Ellen Granger, director of the Office of Science Teaching Activities in the department of biological sciences at Florida State University, has been named the inaugural president of the executive board of UTeach STEM Educators Association (USEA). The new organization is dedicated to improving teaching in STEM fields.
Dr. Granger stated, “My goal is to lay a strong foundation for open collaboration among USEA members upon which we can together build toward our goal of excellence in STEM education and science literacy for all.”
Dr Granger holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
