Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology Names a New President

devivoVaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in East Elmhurst, New York, has named Sharon DeVivo as its next president. The college enrolls about 1,800 students and men make up 87 percent of the student body.

Dr. DeVivo joined Vaughn College in 1996 as a communications director. Previously, she was director of public relations at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University and then was director of communications for Fordham University in The Bronx, New York.

Dr. DeVivo is a graduate of the University at Albany of the State University of New York System. She earned a master’s degree in public communications from Fordham University and a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
