The Next Leader of the Ohio University-Southern Campus in Ironton

Nicole PenningtonJ. Nicole Pennington has been selected to lead Ohio University-Southern in Ironton. When she becomes dean of the Southern campus on July 1, she will be the first woman to serve in the post.

Dr. Pennington joined the faculty at Ohio University in 2006 and currently serves as associate director and associate professor of nursing at the Southern campus.

Dr. Pennington holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She earned a doctorate from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
